Windows Defender - not the best Anti-Spyware application around but it's free and does a reasonable job.

We would never normally recommend any free security utilities as you'll never get the quality and support provided with paid for versions. However, if you really don't want to pay for Anti-Virus or Anti-Spyware software then AVG's free products do a fairly reasonable job.
